This is the finally made Vega Mandolin from the early 1900s. It has a decorative pearl sound, Hall ring and fancy in laid Pickard. The top is spruce and the back and size are individual ribs of beautiful rosewood. The instrument is complete and playable, but there is a long crack in one of the ribs on the back. It would require repair, set up and a new set of strings; it is missing the tailpiece cover. we are selling this instrument as found.
