This Silvertone is a nice contender for any beginner or hobby-ist in the market for a low cost Strat style electric. This particularly issue was produced by Samick (according to its headstock decal), a leading manufacturer for well regarded budget instruments. Complete with the traditional 5 way pickup switch and three classic single coils - this has the edgy bell tones people know and love from a Strat. A black finish with replaced parchment knobs, it has a great look. While being used, it has only superficial wear, and is setup nice and easy with low action, a straight neck and clean frets. Standard 25.5" scale length, 1 11/16" nut width, a slim maple C neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard.
A perfect choice for any beginner, and certainly another axe in the arsenal for anyone looking to add an inexpensive strat to their company.
