Operating under the Hill Guitar Company, New World Guitar Co. provided excellent instruments at budget pricing. Being imported from China where the instruments were built, the company ceased production only this past year. Player Series examples like this one, offered key ingredients to excellent playability and tone - all at a price point much lower than a boutique instrument.

This example dates to 2019, and is constructed with some very nice, all solid, wide grained spruce and East Indian rosewood with thinly applied poly finish. The Interior shows a standard fan bracing pattern with unique mostly solid kerfing on the back, the top fully split. Sonically, this all yields a very balanced instrument for a seasoned player - with a unique, and bright voice.

Designed slightly smaller, it is comfortable for those with smaller hands, as well as making larger stretches easier without notable sonic compromise. The neck is designed with a 615mm scale and 48mm nut width. The neck is constructed out of mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, the neck fitted with an adjustable truss rod.

This example comes to us in excellent shape showing very light use by the previous owner. Mild finish wear in the fingerboard due to typical fret sprout, the wear purely cosmetic and light. This guitar plays great with fairly typical action measuring about 2.5mm in height at the twelfth fret.
