Sweet early 1960s Kay S-1 "Supreme" model from the family of the original owner; label inside; strong instrument for all genres. This 3/4" scale doghouse features dark stained laminate construction, with violin corners, double purfling, with original telescoping/threaded endpin intact. No cracks present, but typical and thankfully minimal finish chipping/checking is present throughout, with only some wear on the edges; original tailpiece with Kay emblem...outfitted with a new maple bridge with adjustable wheels; ebony heel cap. The neck has an ebony fingerboard, with original plate tuning machines with one replaced screw. Included is original brown canvas bag (mildly tattered).
