A handsome instrument from John Grey and Sons, with original case! 11.5" spun-over rim w/ unique indented tension hoop, maple veneer inside rim; original engraved armrest, and heavy duty tailpiece; original resonator present in case (one broken "security foot"); dowel stick stamped. Multi piece neck w/ 26" scale ebony fingerboard w/ 1-5/16" nut width; equipped with friction pegs. A good player with a straight neck, there is finish wear on wooden and some tarnish to metal parts.
