Phenomenal build, perhaps by maker John Gough but unsigned, featuring incredible workmanship woven together with historical build elements with a creative twist. The 11-1/8" diameter pot is in the style of an Electric No. 5 or 6, with binding on the interior and exterior edge, marquetry rim cap, and black exterior/interior walls; original scalloped Electric tonering present; outfitted with repro plaque, and BB tailpiece, Cobra hooks. The gorgeous dark stained flamed maple neck has a large flared heel with carving, long back strap with "classic" era Griffon pearl inlay, with "earlier" more lion-like Griffon on face; 26-1/4" scale ebony fingerboard with delicately engraved pearl inlays including Cole style butterfly; light surface cracks on back of peghead overlay. Equipped with a nice set of Planetary tuners, with newer geared fifth.
