Goodall Guitars never stop impressing us. Each with unique wood choices, they're always welcome here at the shop. This particular 12 fret parlor is a joy to sit with. With an easy going small body shape (the lower bout measuring just under 14"), it is comfortable and sounds *fantastic* to boot. Constructed with an Adirondack, wide grained spruce, it is lightly X braced offering up a really warm tone. The top is bound with Purple Heart, the back constructed out of a nice and wide grained Indian rosewood - the depth measuring about 4 1/8" deep at the base. The neck joins the body at the 12th fret, again opening this guitar up tonally with a very pure and balanced tone. The neck is made of mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, again bound in a subtle Purple Heart. It is designed with a 25" scale length with a wide 1 7/8" nut width. Slot headstock relieves some of the weight. The neck is nice and straight, the saddle still very tall with very low action at only 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret. The frets are clean, and this one is ready to become someones favorite!
