Intermediate-grade Neapolitan style mandolin by Italian master Umberto Ceccherini of Naples, that was sold by Alban Voigt & Co., London; original signed label intact. Body constructed w/ rosewood ribs and skirt, with spruce top (trimmed in cypress); inlaid tortoise pickguard w/ pearl engraving; several repaired top cracks present; original tailpiece and set in string post guides. Rosewood neck w/ ebony fingerboard, grafted rosewood peghead w/ recessed/engraved tuners; neck has some forward relief but plays well; some minor fretwear also present.
