Guyatone produced a number of different instruments during their hay-day. The Japanese instruments, while tending to be lesser expensive copies of notable instruments, would sometimes deviate away from the familiar, all while being a unique take on something in existence. Here we have a mid 60's Guyatone built "Bradford" guitar, complete with a solid offset style ply body, cream white finish, thick chrome pickguard, 4 single coil pickups, tremolo bar, bolt on neck and tons of vibe. This better than average import has a lot of tone on tap, with the 4 "Mic" options all available on their own switches, with the front and back two pickups running on their own independent volume controls (sort of like a make shift version of a hum bucker setup). It has a slightly shorter, Gibson style 24.75" scale length. The steel reinforced neck is nice and straight, with a rosewood fingerboard with MOP block inlay and clean frets that show almost no wear. Tuners work as they should. This is one of those guitars that just about anyone would call cool, and certainly could find its place in the right studio setting.
