A big body with an arched back - no we're not talking about Frankenstein, we're talking about the Guild F-240E!
A jumbo sized body offers up quite a bit of volume, made even more substantial with its well regarded arched back that Guilds have been well known for. A solid spruce top, with a strong laminate arched mahogany back - it has a piano like definition with solid dynamics - albeit not for the faint-of-elbow individual, as the lower bout measures 17" across.
A 25.5" scale length and 1.75" nut width implies this guitar is for the taller individual, but certainly it feels a bit at home once you get accustomed. This example comes to us used, but plays great with low action that measures 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret with a tall saddle. Fishman made electronics with a simple volume and tone control will make it a great option for the budding showman.
The neck is straight and the frets are clean making it a nice contender for anyone looking to save a bit on a new one - AND this one even comes with a like new hardshell case!
