A clean and original Gibson A- "pumpkin top" in great shape in its original hard case; one of the better sounding lower model Gibsons we've noted, with lots of warmth and chime, made about a decade into the models original production. The teardrop body features red-stained birch back and sides, and a bound spruce top; equipped with original tailpiece, and non adjustable bridge; note long grain on either side of bookmatched top; no structural issues present, some mild cosmetic wear. Two piece maple neck w/ ebony fingerboard, later frets in good shape, pronounced V profile, original tuners present. Intonates and plays all the way up, with minimal forward relief.
