One of the highest regarded bass guitars of all time, the Fender Jazz bass speaks with low end, thump and the aggressive bite that has helped define Funk, Rock & R&B for decades. Every studio session player knows how useful one of these instruments are, and thats why countless brands have offered copies to the Fender original. Here we have a nice 1996, 50th anniversary Jazz Bass, built in the USA. A great era for Fender, it has a nice neck with a thick rosewood fingerboard. The previous owner cleverly disguised the dot inlays with some simple block inlay stickers that we have chosen to leave on. A chrome pickguard was added, and dome knobs installed, but the originals are included in the sale. The bass plays great with low action, currently setup with some flat wound strings. Cosmetically its clean with some simple surface wear. The neck is straight, the frets are clean and this bass is looking for its next gig. Comes with a hardshell case.
