The Yamaha Silent Bass series has been a well loved and highly regarded instrument lineup. Conveniently portable, and providing professional upright tone, electrically - it fills a niche and quells some issues for the professional upright player. The SLB200 and its slightly upgraded 200LTD, have now been since discontinued - but highly regarded amongst many serious players and hobbyists for a few years time. This 200LTD example model, features an improved resonating chamber on the instruments compact body. A more streamlined pickup system with an active/passive switch, it has a suitable tone for anything from Classical to Jazz. The neck is comfortable with a profile similar to an actual upright, unlike some other EUB's out there. This unit comes to us in great shape having been used sparingly by its original owner.
