Rarely seen Flesher Grand Promenade model from the esteemed maker. The select curly maple neck has a 26-1/4" scale and has a back strap consisting of a black/red/black lamination which continues under the fingerboard, peghead and heel cap. The peghead is inlaid with a delicately engraved Grecian urn of mother of pearl w/ flowers of colorful abalone, and the fingerboard is inlaid with colorful abalone flowers surrounded by delicately engraved mother of pearl leaves. deeply carved heel. The 12 inch rim is bound with a red/white/black rope design wood marquetry and has a black rim cap; tension hoop, tailpiece and interior band are engraved; integrated ebony tonering. Light finish wear/dings are present, but in fine structural shape.
