Rochester’s premier folk, blues, and bluegrass listening venue, will present its next concert of the 2019 season with a performance by Peg Dolan with Sharon McHargue on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. The concert will be held at the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre, 20 Windsor Street, Rochester, NY. All concerts begin at 7 pm and occur on the 2^nd and 4^thWednesdays of every month (with occasional exceptions). Reservations are accepted (but not required) and can be made by calling 585-325-4370. Peg Dolan's extensive repertoire ranges from traditional and contemporary Irish songs to popular hits by stars like The Eagles, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, to dozens of country and pop favorites.  Peg is well-known for her resonant vocal abilities. In his review of The Missing Peace, Jamie O'Brien, of the Irish Edition, said of "the beauty of Peg's voice" that "the lyrics burst into infectious life." Peg is an accomplished musician as well and plays six and twelve string guitars, mandolin, penny whistle, button accordion, and bodhran. Peg will be joined by well known fiddler Sharon McHargue.
