Fine classical guitar lutherie is an art that often is passed down, familially, in generations. The Nakade name holds high esteem amongst builders, and one can easily recognize the craftsmanship when seeing a guitar like this no. 20 example we have here. Beautiful construction, this guitar has a large voice - thanks to a few decades of the high grade spruce and Brazilian rosewood "opening up". Cosmetically, this example has some standard wear for its age, namely a few top scratches and string bites behind the bridge. The top is flat with no previous signs of repair or cracks. The back showcases a very nice, lightly finished Brazilian rosewood - aiding to the sonic three dimensionality this guitar evokes. The neck is designed with a shorter tenon join internally than a conventional Spanish heel. The neck appears to be made with a Spanish Cedar profile, and a thick ebony fingerboard - the neck angle nice and straight yielding appropriate playability. It is designed with a standard 650mm scale length, and a nut width a hair wider measuring about 52.25mm. Includes hardshell case.
