Many players enjoy the endearing and inexpensive Yamaha's of yesteryear - so much so, that the Red Label Nippon Gakki examples have become a bit of a collectors item. This example of the popular FG-75, folk guitar, is the second primary iteration of the model from Taiwan, with the white label. Similar build qualities, it has a thin laminate design that is robust but still offering a nice sound. A vintage beginner guitar, these are fun smaller body guitars suitable for those with smaller hands. Cosmetically this has some light surface wear - and these guitars notoriously have relatively shallow neck angles making the action fairly high in the upper register. This example has had its saddle taken down a bit to relieve the action which currently measures about 8/64" in height at the twelfth fret - making it a good candidate for a practice neck reset. The neck is otherwise straight with a functioning truss rod, and functional tuners. Overall, a good cowboy chord guitar currently, or a good campfire guitar for anyone looking for something on a budget. Includes chipboard case.
