Unquestionably a Schall, however unsigned, featuring a double spun 11.5" diameter rim assembly, with 27" scale black painted neck w/ finely engraved silver inlay in flower pot on peghead. Featuring all original hardware including angular shoes, original No Knot tailpiece, plating is worn in some areas exposing raw brass, with small crack near neck hardware; replacement shoe nut inside. The neck features gorgeous engraved silver inlay on the peghead overlay and on the ebony board including star position markers; finish wear present on back of neck, with repaired separations on overlay; dowel stick appears to have split at end pin area and was repaired solidly. A nice playing nylon string banjo, great for classic or folk styles, with only light forward relief; 1-1/4" wide bone nut.
