We are pleased to feature this stunning instrument from the Seattle based luthier, Steve Andersen. Andersen has been producing guitars with unique & immediately classic sensibility since the 1970's. His instruments are truly informed from years of experience and fine detail. This 17" oval hole model will appeal to classic and modern players, as well as top shelf collectors. This particular instrument is built with a very fine Adirondack Red Spruce Top and stunning single piece Maple back & Sides. Designed with a slightly "less is more" aesthetic, the high quality of the wood is visible and sonically vibrant. A large oval hole in the top's bass side upper bout results in a loud, and very responsive woody tone. This example is in great shape less a small finish chip at the bass side lower bout, and some light surface wear. Maple neck with ebony fingerboard, designed with a 25.4" scale length and a 1.75" nut width. Although this guitar comes to us used, it has been very well cared for - likely only played a handful of times in its 4 years of age. There is no fret wear and the neck is straight - resulting in easy low action measuring an even 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret. An aftermarket floating Benedetto S6 pickup was professionally installed with a pickguard (original in the case). Includes Calton hardshell case!
