Schecter Guitar Research has been a longtime brand - known originally for making high quality parts, and later on many high quality, but budget friendly instruments. This example of the Stargazer-12 from their diamond series line, offers up a cool alternative to the many Danelectros and faux-Rickenbackers we've all seen. Modded by its previous owner, it is outfitted with some EMG humbuckers (single coil size) with an active preamp under the pickguard - giving it some higher output without the buzz/hum.
The bass strings are strung through the body, with the octave strings top loaded - making the tension a bit more balanced overall. Cosmetically, this guitar is in clean condition with some light surface level swirling. It plays easy with a straight neck, low action and very clean frets.
