Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty Bonamassa

In the past decade or so Epiphone has done a fantastic job, upgrading their instruments to player specific ideals. It's no wonder why the President of Nerdville USA, Joe Bonamassa has presented some very intriguing, budget friendly replicas through Epiphone. Joe hand selected some of his finest Gibson instruments for Epiphone to replicate, and lemme just say, this clone of his '58 Black Beauty Les Paul Custom is sweet.

The iconic black finish is a great look for any occasion. Gold hardware, fully bound, this guitar is cosmetically in excellent shape having been used sparingly in the few years it was handled by the original owner. Cosmetically this is in great shape. A versatile assembly of Epiphone Probuckers allow for a nice array of classic tones via its simple pickup selector.

The neck has a great feel, it has a 50's hefty neck profile. It's nice and straight with clean frets and low action that currently measures about 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret, with plenty of room for adjustment at the saddle. The open book headstock hosts thoughtful recreations of early Epiphone tuners - rounding out the looks and functionality of this very fine guitar.

This is quite the bang for the buck, Bonamassa approved.
