Ken Parker built some of the coolest "modern" electric guitars, with the early 2000's being flooded with his Fly models in just about any genre of music one could consider. The PM-20 Hornet, like this example, is one such instrument that can hold its own on any stage with any style of music - both sonically and aesthetically - a healthy alternative to a Les Paul for many. The body has some nicks and dings along its edge, but nothing too troubling (see photos).
This example sports the traditional sunburst finish, with the forever classic flamed maple top with mahogany back. The neck thru body design is sleek and comfortable - and compliments well with the 25.5" scale length - giving a Fender snappiness to the double humbucker electronics configuration. With coil tapping available for both Alnico Stinger pickups - a variety of sounds can be had with ease. The neck is nice and straight, with easy to play low action, currently setup with a cool set of flat wound strings. In its current setup it makes a surprisingly awesome jazz guitar alternative. The frets and fingerboard are clean with minimal wear primarily in the open position. A great playing and sounding example.
Includes a newer hardshell case.
