Next to top of the line, this is an all walnut banjo with elaborate two tiered resonating chamber, aluminum tone ring and white enameled outer side wall. This banjo is appointed with very fancy marquetry and engraved pearl inlay throughout. Equipped with original gold plated Paige tuners with large pearl buttons. Gorgeous gold plating with some tarnish and wear on armrest, and around flanges; equipped with very rare wrist mute; resonator features floral marquetry design; some reglued/rough elements on back. The 23" scale rosewood fingerboard presides atop multiple laminations, with thin original frets (mild pitting), with decorative pearl inlay (engraving has lightened); plays well and really soars above; some mild forward bow present.
