A simple 6 digit serial stamp at its output jack plate, it is hard to know for certain what year this Swede is from. The Swede model was originally introduced in 1970, and with a 6 digit serial with no prefix, it likely puts it in the earlier 1970's, by the late 70's have a prefix "53" stamp. A unique and high quality alternative to a Les Paul, this a cool opportunity to own a example.

Dark violet finish that others have called "Metallic Lavender" - this example comes to us in very good condition, ready for its next career. Some examples are seen, primarily the set-neck Super Swede, showing the finish of the entire instrument being the metallic purple, this one having its maple top finished in violet, the back & neck profile in black. Original plastic knobs, the bridge tone control cracked. "Gary" in cursive scratched into its bridge. The electronics all function as they should, the wiring appearing untouched - with a kind of obscure control layout - the top toggle switch engaging two additional tone controls (mids or bass), the bottom toggle switch for pickup selection.
