Sounds just like AC/DC!
These little gems were made by Mojotone for Gibson from around 2002-2006. Handwired, turret board construction with high quality components including Heyboyer iron and a polished stainless steel chassis. These amps use a variation on the Fender Champ 5F1 circuit, using a single EL84 for the output and a single 12AX7 in the preamp. A full wave solid state rectifier keeps the lows nice and tight. Nice cleans and then creamy distortion as you crank it up. It has a very sweet sounding Weber Ceramic Signature 8" 4 ohm speaker re-branded with a Gibson 'Goldtone' label.
Cosmetically this amp is very clean, looking and sounding great for a twenty year old amplifier. This would be a great choice for someone looking a reliable modern alternative to that small, vintage combo amp. Ideal for a recording studio.
You would be hard pressed to find a handwired tube amp for this price.
