For sale is this gently used Fender TC-10 Champ!. This uncommon iteration of the Champ was reissued by Fender Japan for the Custom Edition line for only a few years in the early 90's. With USA made hardware and tweed covering, this has the distinction of being one of the only tube amp offerings produced by Fender Japan at the time.
Using the 5F1 circuit as a basis and a single-ended Class A design with a 6V6 power tube, this amp sees the addition of individual treble n’ bass controls alongside the standard volume control. This allows for some additional tone sculpting or putting them on full bore for some sweet tube overdrive! A solid state rectifier removes some of the ‘sag’ but tightens up the sound in a pleasing way. This would make an excellent recording or bedroom amp, or a great amp for the player chasing the tone of the elusive 5F1.
Cosmetically, the amp is in great shape for being 30 years old. Tweed and grille cloth are in excellent condition with only a few minor blemishes on the sides. Hardware and chrome have patina and some rust but are in good condition overall.

NOTE: This amp is 100V Japan voltage and requires a voltage converter/step up transformer for use (included in the sale)
