The JC-120 killer of the early 1990s, Fender's M-80 Chorus embellished on their M-80 clean platform, offering up a LOUD stereo chorus amplifier. Killer for Jazz/Fusion to Indie Rock, the chorus on these amps is nice and lush, to subtle and warbly. Solid state measuring about 65 watts of power, these are a solid amp for rehearsing with a full band and certainly for doing some recording. The onboard distortion channel is a bit of a sleeper, with a broad contour control allowing one to fully sculpt the midrange. This particular examples spring reverb seems to be a bit intermittent and might require a new tank - but nothing too troubling. Grey fuzz exterior, with the evil red knobs, this is a unique piece of Fender amplifier history that needs not go overlooked!
