A recent open back banjo from Epiphone, this would make a great beginner instrument. An 11" pot, is constructed with a thick multi ply maple rim with a single coordinating rod for any adjustments needed. The neck is also made of maple with what appears to be a rosewood fingerboard, with a 27" scale length. It has a nice open tone, certainly nice for the price point. Adjustable truss rod, guitar style tuners function great, and provide easy setup and playability. While being used, this is in great shape with hardly any signs of use. Nice straight neck, with easy to play clean frets - can't beat it!
