A very unique player grade archtop from Epiphone. No label inside, it is a bit unclear which model this one actually is, having been modified, and appearing similarly to a Broadway model - but seen here with a slightly smaller 16" lower bout. Laminate construction, it has some nice features including a frequensator style tailpiece and dual pickups - which have been swapped to a nice Benedetto neck pickup and humbucker sized single coil in the bridge. Laminate spruce top with laminate maple back and sides, it has a suprising voice acoustically - but shining when plugged in with a rich deep voice in the neck, and some surprising usable spank in the bridge. Two volume and two tone controls, it has a pickup selector switch near the cutaway, with a replaced rhythm & treble puck added. A thin C profile measures about .78" in depth at the first position, tapering up to about .88" at the ninth fret. Includes hardshell case.
