Used, since discontinued, the MD515/V-AMB is a great F-style mandolin with F-holes from Eastman's line. The beautiful antiqued amber varnish finish gives off a slightly aged look as well as a more open response. Full handcrafted and hand carved with a solid spruce top and maple back & sides! It features ivoroid binding on the top, chrome plated hardware, a bone nut, and comes with a hard shell case.
This comes to us in great shape from the original owner, with some matured relic'ing (these models were relic'd at the factory - and some light superficial wear. Structurally it appears strong, and plays with even low action and a straight neck - with virtually no fret wear.Scale Length: 13 7/8″
