Despite their association with cheap imported PA gear, Carlsbro amps were top notch amps in their time. Point to point handwired construction and high quality components make them an incredible value and unique pieces in today's amp market. This is the 1x12" version of the 50 Top amplifier, which as the name implies is a 50 watt combo amp.

An extremely simple circuit, it is a very loud and clean amp which would make it a great pedal platform. Two inputs, Volume knob, and a 3 band EQ with treble, middle, and bass give you a decent set of controls on the front panel. An excellent quality Drake 784-213 50W output transformer is present, and dates to 1974.

This amp comes to us in decent cosmetic condtion with a fairly clean faceplate and some wear on the cabinet. The original power cord is still present.
