This is a nice snakewood violin bow that has been professionally restored. Snakewood is a desirable wood for a violin bow although it is a bit heavier and stiffer than pernambuco. The bow weighs 71 grams. It has been rehaired and has a new leather grip and nickel winding. This is a good bow for the intermediate or advance player and would also work for a Baroque violin.
