High quality violin bow from John Friedrich and Brother, a German violin and bow firm who operated in NYC from 1883-1935 by brothers John and William Friedrich after emigrating to the USA from Germany. The rounded Pernambuco stick has an old twine repair near the tip, with silver-mounted ebony frog with inlaid pearl eyes on the frog and adjustor, pearl faceplate, with small chips off of the tip's end. Stamped "John Freidrich and Bro. NY" on side of shaft. Weighs 57 grams
