The ever famous Harmony Bobkat has become a bit of a staple to American electric guitars from the 1960's. These affordable short scales have been used by many, having recently found their way into the Indie Rock sound thanks to their Rowe gold foil pickups - something that this H15 model has a pair of. These well regarded pickups have a nice warm tone with low output that gives it instant vibe.
Red burst finish, single ply white pickguard with double Rowe goldfoil pickups - it is dated to a Nov 24th 1965, with original volume and tone controls all in good order. Original tremolo present, very mild overall (no dive bombs). Original bound rosewood fingerboard with MOP dot inlay and small vintage frets. Very straight neck thanks to the functional truss rod, it plays well with low action that measures a low 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret of the sixth string, and 4/64" for the first. 24.25" scale length, 1.75" nut width, and a profile depth that measures a hefty .96" at the first position tapering to about 1.05" at the twelfth.
Includes original basic gig bag.
