Spectacular late eighties Gibson RB-Granada from the family of the original owner with original Warranty paper, and original hard case in fine original condition, first batch built during Greg Rich's tenure at Gibson ('87-'93) when he engineered the company's banjo renaissance; ordered as a retirement gift directly from Gibson shipped to the UK. The rim assembly is of stained flamed maple, with a fully bound resonator, gold plated metal parts including engraved tailpiece, armrest, tension hoop, with Kulesh flathead tonering, one piece flange; some light dings and cosmetic wear present including wear and tarnish on plating with areas of binding shrinkage around resonator binding. The one piece flamed maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with Hearts and Flowers inlay in pearl, custom engraved gold plated tuners, with Mastertone block; mild surface scratching present on neck, with very minor fret wear.
