SL stands for "Slim & Light" - and the Epiphone SL is just that. Budget friendly, these one piece light weight poplar body harken back to what made the LP Juniors great. Two single coil pickups evoke a nearly Telecaster type tone. Bright, twangy, but certainly able to put out some grit, this is a great playing budget instrument. Used, it comes to us in good shape with some light nicks and dings around the body. The bolt on neck is nice and straight, yielding easy playability that measures about 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret currently. The satin neck plays well and speedy, the frets showing virtually no wear.
