Nice, simple Galax model banjo, used example from Bart Reiter, who built banjos in Lansing, Michigan from 1982 until retiring in 2021. The 11" stained maple rim assembly, with scalloped Electric/Whyte Laydie tonering, nickel plated hardware including notched tension hoop. The 26-1/4" scale mahogany neck has a frailing scoop, with dots and a star pearl inlay into the ebony fingerboard. Lots of cosmetic wear on heel cap and peghead overlay, finish is bubbling and checking in vertical lines. A nice player with great directness and clarity.
