We are grateful to host our friend, international Gypsy Jazz guitarist Stephane Wrembel Saturday October 10th for a small group workshop!

The New York Times said: "Perhaps the most creative improviser in Gypsy jazz today, Mr. Wrembel plays the guitar with a rich and colorful lyricism."

Stéphane Wrembel is one of the most distinctive guitarists and composers of his generation, recognized for his extraordinary musicianship, expansive musical vision, and deeply personal artistic voice. Over the course of his career, Wrembel has developed a sound that transcends genre and geography, drawing inspiration from jazz, classical, blues, flamenco, and rock while forging a style that is unmistakably his own.

A masterful improviser and captivating performer, Stéphane’s live concerts are defined by virtuosity, spontaneity, and emotional depth. Whether performing with his ensemble or in an intimate setting, he creates a musical dialogue that invites audiences beyond categories and into a shared experience of discovery.

As Wrembel himself explains: “I just play my own music. It’s not only for the rock music lover, the Django Reinhardt lover or jazz lover. It’s for the music lover.”

This workshop starts at 10AM in the back room at Bernunzio Uptown Music
