Friday June 21st - Show starts at 7:30PM - with a suggested donation of $10 at the door.
*This is the first day of the Rochester Jazz Festival, and parking will be limited, plan accordingly.
Old Pup (Milwaukee, WI) plays warmly haunted folk songs that float between surrealism, absurdity, and lyrical nods to the poets who can say it all more potently. The project is led by multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Will Hansen, who plays pedal steel with a growing list of artists in the Midwest and beyond (Sleepy Gaucho, Johanna Rose).

Kurt Johnson is a multi-instrumentalist performer, composer, and educator based in Upstate New York. He can be found performing with Kill Rock Stars recording artist Mikaela Davis; the long-standing instrumental trio, The Moho Collective; and his own singer/songwriter project, among others.
Kurt’s set will debut new songs as well as excursions into sonorous tapestries steeped in patterns, drones and sonic pleasantries, all put forth by various stringed instruments.
Overhand Sam is a bit of a musical psychonaut, known best for playing guitar in Maybird (30th Century/Columbia Records), currently fronting a Hendrix-ian power quintet Bad Weapon. A never ending quest for sounds, Sam also has produced, mixed and mastered albums for a wide swath of artists across the country. He is steeped in classic song, and will be performing a unique and intimate solo performance.
