From Guild's Hoboken NJ plant, this is a early 1960's classical featuring flamed Pearwood back and sides, a three-piece mahogany neck with 25.5" scale, ebony fretboard, rosewood peghead overlay and rosewood bridge. Although this guitar is clearly stamped with a Mark IV model designation, it has features that are commonly found on the Mark III model such as a rosewood overlay and bridge. Dings and scratches present throughout, playing wear especially evident on the guitar's top and back of the neck. No cracks. The neck has a slight bow, however the guitar intonates and plays fairly well. Original Guild case included.
