A stunning banjo from the A.C. Fairbanks Company, from the second owner. This is a fine player's, collector piece. The wooden rim is 10-3/4" in diameter and fitted with the fabled electric/Whyte Laydie tonering. It is painted back with white binding on the lower edge. The neck has a husky feel to it and is mahogany with some attractive inlayed pearl. In excellent conditon, some fret wear, cracking on peghead overlay. Superior tone and playability.
Newer Harptone case included in the sale.
