As the name states, this is a thoroughly "professional" 19-fret tenor banjo with all nickelplated hardware. This banjo set the standard for the Early Jazz Orchestra. Complete with all original parts including Grover Tuners, flamed pie-plate resonator and individual flanges. Original stamped "Vegaphone Professional" engraved tailpiece. Usual wear including scratching on back of resonator/neck/peghead. Maple neck has a bound ebony fingerboard, with original (light pitting) frets. There is some light forward relief present and a shim in place, but the banjo is a nice player with low action and does not fret out. Includes original purple lined case.
