The Vegaphone Artist was next to the top of the line from the esteemed Boston manufacturer. This instrument is gold plated with individual flanges and pie-sectioned resonator. The fine, curly maple neck sports a handsome heel carving. The banjo has been refinished to perfect original style condition.The gold is slightly worn and may have been replated at some point. It is set up with a new Renaissance 10 15/16” head and PERFECTLY refretted..
This banjo is a great looker AND a great player.The original tuners are replaced with gold ABMs with the originals in the pocket of the non-original brown case that looks to like a Gibson case. Standard Tuning CGDA
