This beautifully crafted instrument attributed to Lyon and Healy represents great craftsmanship at an affordable price. Being built in the 1890s, this banjo makes an excellent classic style banjo for rags, marches, mazurkas and more. Currently strung up with Labella 17 classics and a shop made two foot bridge, it has an amazingly crisp tone yet being very easy to play. The calfskin head has a small tear towards the tailpiece, but it still plays + sounds great under tension. The inlays in the peghead and fretboard are made from un-plated copper and pearl. This banjo has a 26" scale length with an 11 inch head.
