From the Victorian era comes this Luscomb classic banjo made in Boston, Massachusetts circa 1890s. It is reminiscent of the time gone by with lovely decorative mother of pearl in the fingerboard, peghead and heel cap. The banjo is strung with gut strings and played classically. It is incredibly clean original condition with mahogany neck and real ivory tuners. It has an 11 1/2 inch rim with rosewood interior and pattened tonering; 26-1/2 inch scale neck. A fine example….. shows some wear on the back of the neck; new bone nut; Nice comfortable neck measuring 1 3/8 at the nut.
