The thoughtful American Professional II line from Fender really left no stone unturned, having taken a page from the original Ultra's and enhancing certain elements that even the vintage purists would appreciate. Combine the forward thinking from Fender with one of the most iconic and versatile guitars of all time, the Telecaster, and we are certainly pleased. This Sienna Sunburst example dating to 2021 comes to us used, but in great condition, albeit with some modifications. Now, from the factory, these telecasters feature the nicely contoured heel for upper register access, along with a micro-tilt adjustment, a vintage ash try bridge with compensated brass saddles, a deep C profile neck with tall frets - all very nice. The previous owner has removed the push/push tone control (originally designed for series parallel switching), and removed it all together, and also installed a very nice DiMarzio Chopper in the bridge. This "No-Load" pickup concept removes a level of capacitance that some players prefer, and given that we don't have the original pot, we decided to leave this as it is - seeing as it super rocks. A nice high output bridge pickup matches well with the V series neck pickup, and gives quite the sonic palette. The next owner could fairly easily decide to swap the original pickup back in, and change any further wiring around if they so decide. Cosmetically this example is very clean with hardly any signs of wear, aside from the previously mentioned modifications. Sadly this guitar comes to us with no case, but optional gig bags are available. We have this priced accordingly for the next owner. A great value for a fantastic players guitar.
