One of a kind wood-topped fretless banjo, an unusual piece of folk art. 12" rim with mahogany top and back, brass "tension hoop" secures top with 16 screws, a five-pointed star carving decorates the back with 6 blue diamonds surrounding. The neck is mahogany and has five large pearl dot inlays on fretboard, large bone "flush-fret" fifth marker. Equipped with friction pegs, and a large brass tailpiece. Past heel crack repair.
