All maple, 18 fret tenor, notched tension hoop, 20 brackets, 11" head; a fine beginner or intermediate instrument from the Philadelphia firm. The 22" scale maple neck has an ebony fretboard, pearl position markers, Weymann patented neck adjustor, and tailpiece; equipped with newer geared tuners (evidence of past plugs); overall in fine shape, there is cosmetic surface wear, light pitting on frets, play wear on back of neck, and a chip on back of peghead above badge; w/ mild forward relief, this banjo plays with medium action w/ a 1/2" bridge.
