Fine Washburn construction, this is the Style 5317 or "Solo" model soprano ukulele dating from 1925 in its original hard case. Catalog specs include "figured mahogany neck and body, 3-ply maple sides, 17 fret rosewood fingerboard w/ pearl dots on 5/7/10/12, bone nut, ivorine diamond on peghead, and mahogany "smile" bridge, mechanical friction tuners w/ celluloid buttons...". The thin original finish is checking in some areas, and the action is on the medium side due to high bridge height and light forward relief. Fine aged tone.
