All original Vega Style M w/ powerful Tubaphone tonering popular for use in Irish music; an extremely well-built 1920s Boston banjo, superior in quality to new most new builds. The rim assembly measures 11-13/16 across, is of maple, and is tortoise-bound on either edge; all hardware (bracket-band, hooks/nuts, tonering, armrest, and tailpiece) are original with nickel plating lightly tarnished. The 21" scale maple neck is lightly figured with a pearwood heel cap and bound ebony fingerboard; tasteful pearl-work present, with thin & lightly worn original frets; equipped with original Champion tuners. Included in sale is original hard case w/ spin-on metal resonator and Elton armrest.
